Sue Charney Retires at Door County Dental Care in Sturgeon Bay, WI

An exciting new chapter began for a familiar face at Door County Dental Care. After a 44 year career Sue has retired. She will be missed by many, but we are excited for her to enjoy her golden years. Sue passed her hygienist brush to Miranda who will diligently try to fill Sue’s shoes. Read a letter from Sue below.

Dear everyone at Door County Dental Care, family, friends and patients.

I am writing this on my first day of retirement!

I am looking out into my beautiful backyard! Drinking a cup of coffee.

How can I ever begin to THANK everyone for your kindness and support over the last 44 years? My career as a Dental Hygienist has been so very satisfying and fulfilling. Each and every day I would share stories of my everyday life and patients would share theirs. We laughed and even cried many times.

I am hoping to spend time with my 3 grand daughters that live in Green Bay. My husband and I will be taking a few road trips to see some of the National Parks. But most of all just taking time to enjoy each and every moment of my retirement. Door County is such a beautiful place to love.

If anyone ends up on Sunny Point Road Egg Harbor stop in and say HI!!!!

Remember “flossing is like praying – do it every day”

Sue
