At Door County Dental Care, we are always striving to improve our skills and our service.
The Door County Dental Care staff attended the 151st Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting from February 26 & 27th 2015. The event features the best in lectures, hands-on learning, and commercial exhibits. More than 27,000 attendees gathered for the yearly conference.
Dr. Regan Luders attended a seminar on TMJ treatment. TMJ, or Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, is Pain and compromised movement of the jaw joint and the surrounding muscles. TMJ is very common; there are more than three million diagnosed cases in the U.S. every year. Dr. Luders learned more about how to recognize, diagnose, and treat.
But Dr. Luders wasn’t the only one learning at the conference! The Door County Dental Care hygienists attended a meeting on improving radiology (x-ray) techniques, anesthetics, and improving patient comfort. The dental assistants attended a lecture on equipment maintenance, improving temporary crown restoration. The front desk staff attended seminars on improving patient relations.
Not only was the conference informational and engaging, but the entire staff also had a great time and lots of fun in Chicago. To see some photos from the event, head to http://cdsmidwintermeeting.com.
