Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a shell-like material made out of porcelain that is placed on the front of your tooth. Dependent on your oral hygiene, porcelain veneers are long-lasting, stain-resistant and strong. Veneers are usually completed in two steps. Porcelain veneers are recommended on teeth that are stained, chipped or broken, have gaps, or irregularly shaped. At the first appointment, we will prepare the tooth or teeth involved. After tooth preparation, an impression of your teeth will be taken. The impression will be sent to a laboratory for the fabrication of the porcelain veneers by an expert ceramist. In the interim, you will have temporary veneers placed. At the second appointment, the temporary veneers will be removed, we will check that the permanent veneers fit perfectly, and to be sure they are the correct shape and color you wish. If no changes are required, the veneers will be permanently cemented to your tooth, resulting in a perfect, beautiful smile!
